MasterPacT MTZ2/MTZ3 Circuit Breakers with MicroLogic Active Control Unit

The range of MasterPacT MTZ2/MTZ3 circuit breakers with MicroLogic Active control unit offers current ratings from 800 A to 6,300 A for AC power systems up to 690 Vac.

NOTE: For AC power systems with IT grounding system, the voltage is limited to 600 Vac.

MasterPacT MTZ2/MTZ3 circuit breakers with MicroLogic Active control unit are available:

In the following frame sizes:
- MasterPacT MTZ2 for current ratings from 800 A to 4,000 A
- MasterPacT MTZ3 for current ratings from 4,000 A to 6,300 A
In the following power systems:
- 3-pole (3P)
- 4-pole (4P)
In the following installation types:
- Fixed-mounted circuit breakers
- Drawout circuit breakers

Circuit Breakers

HAZARD OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, EXPLOSION, OR ARC FLASH Do not install a MicroLogic Active control unit with version number 004.000.000 in a MasterPacT MTZ circuit breaker with performance level L1 or H3. Failure to follow these instructions will result in death or serious injury.

MasterPacT MTZ2/MTZ3 circuit breakers with MicroLogic Active control unit are available with the following performance levels:

H1: high short-circuit level (66 kA) with total selectivity
H2: very high short-circuit level (100 kA) with very high selectivity (85 kA)

Additionally, for MasterPacT MTZ2 circuit breakers with MicroLogic Active control unit:

N1: standard short-circuit level (42 kA) with total selectivity
H3: extremely high short-circuit level (150 kA) with high selectivity (66 kA)
L1: extremely high short-circuit level (150 kA) with strong current limitation and significant selectivity (30 kA)

Neutral Position on 4P Circuit Breakers

On 4P circuit breakers:

For MasterPacT MTZ2 N1, the neutral position is on the left side as standard.
For MasterPacT MTZ2 H1 and H2, the neutral position is on the left side as standard. A version with neutral position on the right side is available when ordering.
For MasterPacT MTZ3 H1 and H2, the neutral position is on the left side as standard. A version with neutral position on the right side is available when ordering.
