Pairing the device

Once the ENMOD1P is installed, pair the device with the Wiser app to access and control the device.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that the ENMOD1P has been installed by a qualified professional.

Grid and Loads

  • Grid : Main Supply source of the house is referred as Grid in the app.

  • Load : Power consumed from the Grid by electrical devices such as light, water heater and fridge etc. are referred as Load. in the app.

To record overall house consumption, it is recommended to configure one channel in your ENMODP1 as Grid on the main incomer of the house.

Energy Monitoring Device Setup with Wiser App

NOTE: Before adding Energy Monitoring device, Make sure that you have connected your mobile device to Wi-Fi.
  1. Open Wiser App on your phone.

  2. Tap Devices

    > (Add Device).
  3. Tap All > Energy Monitoring Device (A) from Energy Management section.

    Alternatively, tap Preferred > Energy Monitoring Device (A).

  4. Read the instructions and tap Next.

  5. Enable permissions to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for scanning the devices and tap Next.

  6. Add the following Device Information and tap Next:

    • Type of location (B): Select the location of the device from drop-down.

      NOTE: If you want to add a custom name of the location, select Enter custom name and enter name in Location name field.
    • Select Room (C): Select the room from drop-down.

      NOTE: If you want to add a custom name of the room, select Add New Room and enter name in Enter Room Name field.
    • Name your Energy Meter (D): Enter the device name.

    • Add Genset or Grid + Genset as channel? (E): Select Yes or No from drop-down.

      NOTE: If you select Yes for option (E), you need to install a Single In-Wall Relay which will help to detect whether the energy is from Grid or Genset. (For more information see, Single In-Wall Relay Setup)
  7. Insert ENMODP1 into a power source and wait till the LED starts rapidly blinking in red color.

    NOTE:
    • If the LED remains a solid Red, then tap the reset button four times.

    • If the LED remains a slow blinking Red, then tap the reset button fourteen times.

  8. Tap Next.

  9. Select the Energy monitor device from the list (F).

    NOTE: If you are unable to find the device, tap Rescan.
  10. Enter the Wi-Fi password and tap Connect.

    NOTE: To change the Wi-Fi, tap Select Wi-Fi (G).
  11. Add the following Channel information:

    • Enter Channel X(1...6) )Name (H): Enter the name of the channel.

    • Energy Source (J): Select the energy source from drop-down.

      NOTE: Select Energy Source as None if you are not using the channel for any power source.


      Based on Energy Source selected, you will get additional field to update as shown in following table:

      NOTE: You can add up to 6 Channels for the device.
      NOTE: It is recommended to add Channel 1 as the Main Supply Source or Grid.
  12. Tap Next > Done.

    Now, you can see the newly added device on the Devices page.

Single In-Wall Relay Setup

You will be redirected to following screen for Single In Wall Relay setup.

NOTE:
  • This section is applicable when you select Yes for Add Genset or Grid + Genset as channel under Device Information.

  • Before setting up, Single In-Wall Relay should be installed with necessary electrical connection.

  1. Do one of the following:

    • Perform ON-OFF twice to the connected physical switch.

    • Tap the back button of the relay twice within 10 seconds.

  2. Tap Ok (A) to the pop-up dialog box.

  3. Tap Next (B) when Green LED indicator blinks rapidly.

  4. Add the following device Information:

    • Enter Device Name (C): Add the device name.

    • Select Energy Meter (D): Select an existing energy meter.

  5. Tap Next (E).

    NOTE: To begin scanning for devices, make sure to enable Bluetooth permissions.
  6. Tap MAC ID (F).

    NOTE: NOTE: If you are unable to find the device, tap Rescan (G).
  7. Enter the Wi-Fi password and tap Connect (J).

    NOTE:
    • To change the Wi-Fi, tap Select Wi-Fi (H) and choose Wi-Fi network.

    • After entering the password, the Connect (J) button will be enabled.

    You will get pop-up notification ‘Device added successfully’.
