Create and Complete Construction As-Builting Markups

There are several fundamental distinctions to note about construction as-built markups:

• As-builting markups are available only when an as-builting job is open.

• You must be assigned the As-Builter role to create as-builting markups, whereas the Redliner role is needed for regular markups.

• While creating markups, you can’t have multiple markup sessions proceeding on different maps. If you switch maps while creating as-builting markups, the Back to Markups button in the upper right corner replaces the markups toolbar, and it automatically returns you to the map on which you originally started your markups.

Construction jobs, with and without associated designs, are listed on the My Work tab.

1. Tap the Settings button to access the My Work tab.

   

   If the build assignment or job you need is not in the list, tap the Refresh button.

2. Tap the blue button next to the job you want to open.

   TIP: An open construction job is indicated in two spots on the My Work tab:

3. Return to the map view and open the Job Panel by tapping the work button in the left pane. The panel opens, and the name of the job is populated in the top pane, along with the address of the work request.

4. Create your markups. As they are placed, each markup is populated in the Job Panel.

   

5. To remove placed markups, tap Cancel . You are prompted to confirm if you want to remove all markups.

6. When you are finished with markups, tap the Settings button to access the My Work tab. Tap the Complete button, then confirm that you’re done.

   

   A notification displays to indicate your markups have been sent, the job is cleared from the map, and you see regular markup types in the upper right.
