Control Tab

The Control tab provides a way to view the current state of GDBM XI schedules as well as control them.

Take it for a drive!

(That link opens/switches to the Solution Center app and accesses the Control tab in Geodatabase Manager XI.

On this tab, you can easily identify the status of a process by the colored circles to the left of each schedule:

  • A green circle indicates the status is Running.

  • A red circle indicates the status is Failed.

  • A gray circle indicates the status is Not Running.

Click a schedule in the list to see the schedule details. These details include the time it’s scheduled to run and the processes to be run. It also provides a little more detail about the status, such as when it is scheduled to run next.

Two buttons are also displayed: Stop Service and Start Service. These buttons are inactive for failed schedules, as these failures should be investigated further on the Schedules, Programs, or Handlers tabs.

The Stop Service button is active for schedules with a status of Running. You can stop the service from this view. When you are ready to launch it again, click the Start Service button from this view.

You can also start a schedule with a Not Running status from this view.
