Prerequisites for GDBM

Geodatabase Manager (GDBM) XI is a plugin for Solution Center. Given that its purpose is to automate tasks for maintaining a continuously up-to-date Utility Network (UN), GDBM integrates with other XI series apps, rather than operating as a stand-alone app.

The following are required before the implementation process can begin:

It is assumed that you have completed an Online Service Agreement and requested a tenant. Please contact your Account Manager for more information. For more information, read the Security Considerations and Request a Tenant topics.
Ensure that the necessary applications are at a supported version and license level. For the most up-to-date information about supported versions and licenses, visit the GDBM XI Supported Versions article on myArcFM.
Review the ArcFM Solution XI Series Named User Functionality Matrix. This information is useful later as you configure tenant authentication. For more information, read the Configure Tenant Authentication topic.
Review the ArcFM UN Configuration Guide. To ensure a smooth implementation of GDBM, your UN data model should adhere as closely as possible to this configuration.
Feeder Services consumes GDBM action handlers as a part of its Geodatabase Region Resource (GRR) creation/update scheduling procedure. Refer to the GDBM XI Licenses topic for information about GDBM licensing.
