Dismounting the Sepam Protection Relay

  1. Open the LV compartment door or go to the rear side of the equipment rack to get access to the rear panel of the Sepam protection relay.
  2. Using the flat blade screwdriver, unscrew and remove all the connectors together with the wires from the rear panel of the Sepam protection relay.

    2. Voltage input connector for Sepam series 40:

      • Screw-type connector (CCA626)

      • Ring lug connector (CCA627)

    3. Current/voltage input connector:

      • 1/5 A CT current input connector (CCA630 or CCA634)

      • LPCT current input connector (CCA670)

      • VT voltage input connector for Sepam B21/B22 (CCT640)

    4. Base unit connector for:

      • Power supply

      • Output relay

      • CSH30, 120, 200 or ACE990 input

    5. Remote inter-module link connection (black)

    6. Communication module link connection (white)

    7. MES114 module digital I/O connector

    8. MES114 module digital I/O connector

    9. MES114 module digital I/O connector

    10. Optional input/output module (MES114), including connector G, H, and I

    NOTE: Depending on the protection relay type, the number and type of connectors available on the rear panel may be different.
  3. Place the removed connectors and wires in the de-energized LV compartment.
  4. Unplug the CCA612/CCA614 communication cable from the rear panel connector.
  5. Press down (1) the locking clips on the top of the Sepam protection relay to release (2) and remove the Sepam from the installation location.
