Removing the Communication Interface
The Sepam protection relay uses a communication interface
to connect to the network. The interface can be located in the LV
compartment or equipment rack. The PowerLogic
P3, on the other hand, can be directly connected to the network
using a communication cable.
NOTE: Different type of interface can
be used for the Sepam protection relay. The following removal process
uses one of the interfaces as an example.
- Locate the communication interface used for the Sepam protection relay in the LV compartment or equipment rack.

Disconnect the cable (1) and wires (2) from
the interface, and using a screwdriver disconnect the earthing wire
(3).
- Place the disconnected cable and wires temporarily in the de-energized LV compartment or equipment rack.

Disengage and remove the communication interface from the
DIN rail.
