Setting up the EcoFit PowerLogic P3 Protection Relay

The EcoFit PowerLogic P3 protection relay needs to be set up according to the original Sepam settings, which are included in a setting file downloadable from the Sepam protection relay.

An EcoFit setting conversion tool is provided with the EcoFit solution to convert this setting file to a new one usable on the PowerLogic P3.

Refer to the related chapter in the Technical Manual of the Sepam protection relay for information about how to download the setting file from the protection relay.

Refer to the EcoFit Setting Conversion Tool User Guide for steps of converting the old setting file to the EcoFit version.

hazard OF UNINTENDED BEHAVIOUR After the conversion the following operation is needed: Click on Show Report. Select Parameters/Matrices. Review each line of setting/Node of Matrix. Follow the Glossary recommendation. Tick the check box in the User review column. Failure to follow these instructions can result in equipment damage.
