Creating a Room Control group

Create Room Control groups by assigning one or more devices as Receivers and Senders.

Important information for puck devices:

WARNING
Danger due to electric shock
  • Observe the regulations for working on live parts.
  • Only actuate the device buttons using insulated auxiliary equipment that meets the requirements of EN 60900.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, serious injury, or equipment damage.

Multiple Room Control groups can be created. A device can be a Receiver in one or more groups and can also be a Sender in another group. However, only one Sender can be configured each time this task is performed. Repeat this task to configure more Sender/Receiver combinations.

IMPORTANT: Do not mix lighting and shutter control devices in the same group.

  1. Open the network. Short-press the button on one of the devices 8 times. The LEDs on all devices in the network display solid green.
  2. Select each device that you want to control (Receiver). Short-press each Receiver device button 3 times. While the Zigbee network is open in Room Control:
    • connected lighting load blinks On/Off.
    • connected shutter moves slightly up/down or its slats briefly open/close (based on your selection for the shutter control setting).
TIP: You can de-select a device by again short-pressing the device button 3 times, followed by one long-press.
  3. Select the device to use as the controller (Sender). Short-press the Sender device button once. The group is created and the network is closed.

NOTE: The cannot be set as the Sender.
IMPORTANT: Be aware of the differences when selecting push buttons:
    • LK FUGA® Wiser wireless double relay: The complete rocker (left and right push buttons) is selected in one operation by pressing the left side of a rocker.

    • LK FUGA® Wiser wireless double dimmer and LK FUGA® Wiser wireless dimmer: Only one push button is selected at each time. This means that step 1-3 must be repeated for each push button. When a push button is selected, the corresponding command is selected at the same time. This means that the command "turn on" for the left side of the rocker and "turn off" the right side of the rocker are send to the receiver devices when the buttons are pressed. Thus, the receivers know which function to perform when the buttons is activated.

    • The Puck devices cannot be set as the Sender.
