Pole Top Assemblies
Modeling pole attachments is useful for joint-use management, structural analysis, and structural support across a subnetwork.
Modeling attachments requires two sets of features:
-
Junction attachments placed on linear features.
-
Structure junction object and pole top assemblies structurally associated to the junction attachment and parent pole.
Pole Top Assembly
Represents an assembly of features used to attach things to a pole, such as cross-arms, anchors, insulators, and more.
Required Configuration
-
Non-spatial object stored in the structure junction object table.
-
Needs a structural attachment association to attached pole and any junction attachments.
Electric/Joint Use Attachments represent a point of connection on a line to a structure.
Required Configuration
-
Spatial object stored in the junction table of electric or other domains.
-
Needs a structural attachment to attached pole or pole top assembly.
