Service Locations and Meters
Service points, also called Service Locations, are the point of connection between the facilities of the serving utility and the premises wiring. The service location is the point when the utility responsibility ends and the customer responsibility begins.
The premises is a building, residence, structure, irrigation pump, or facility to which electric service facilities are provided or are to be installed. The premises has an address.

Required Configurations

The service location must be configured as a single terminal device.

Service locations are in the ElectricDevice feature class.

Meters are modeled as non-spatial features located in the electric JunctionObject table.

The meter is connected as the service location using a Junction-to-Junction connectivity association.

The premises can be either represented as a non-spatial object in the structure JunctionObject table or as a polygon in the StructureBoundary feature service.

When using a premises, the meter and the structure location are contained by the premises feature.
