Create a New Switchboard

To create a switchboard, do the following:

Create a new switchboard

1. Click Create a switchboard under List view.

2. Update the following fields under the ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS (A) section:

   • Switchboard name: * Enter a name for the switchboard.

   • Type of switchboard: * Select the type of the switchboard from the drop-down, either Main Panel or Sub Panel.

   • Phase: * Select the phase as Single phase or Three phases.

     NOTE: When you select the type of switchboard as main panel, three phases will be selected as default phase.

   • Rated current - In [A]: Enter the rated current value.

   • Short circuit current - Isc [kA]: Enter the short circuit current value.

     NOTE: According to NFC 14 – 100 standard calculation, the maximum short circuit value is 20 kA.

   NOTE: Fields marked with ^(*) are mandatory to fill.

3. Click Create (B) to create a new switchboard.
