Select and Mount the Distribution and Mechanical Elements

When you mount all the devices in the enclosure and rearrange them as needed, add distributions to complete the connections between the devices and provide power supply.

eDesign displays proposed types of distributions based on the type of enclosure chosen.

To add the distributions in the enclosure, do the following:

1. Click Distributions & FUs (A) > DISTRIBUTIONS.(B)

2. Select the distributions from the proposed list and click Add .

3. A new window opens to configure the features. Click Validate to add the distributions in the Workbench (C).

4. Go to the Workbench, drag and drop the distributions into the enclosure. eDesign displays the proposed location with green marking.

Add the mechanical elements in the enclosure at the final phase after you have added all the required distributions.

To add the mechanical elements in the enclosure, do the following:

1. Click Distributions & FUs (A) > MECHANICAL ELEMENTS (D).

2. Select mechanical elements from the proposed list, drag and drop them into the enclosure. eDesign displays the proposed location with green marking.

3. Click Add (E) under Finishing front plates to complete the front panel.
