Measurement Ranges and Accuracy

The accuracy of the current measurements depends on both the value displayed (or transmitted) and the circuit-breaker rating (In):

  • Below 0.1 x In, measurements are not significant

  • Between 0.1 x In and 0.2 x In, accuracy changes linearly from 4 % to 1.5 %

  • Between 0.2 x In and 1.2 x In, accuracy = 1.5 %

The resolution for the current is one Ampere.

The resolution for the voltage is one Volt.

The resolution for power is one kW, kVar, kVA.

The resolution for energy is one kWh, kVarh, kVAh.
