Homeline Tandem and Quad Tandem Circuit Breakers (HOMT)

Homeline tandem 1-pole, tandem 2-pole, and quad tandem miniature circuit breakers are designed to maximize circuit capacity in Homeline residential load centers where space is limited and the use of tandems (also known as duplex circuit breakers) is permitted. Tandem 1-pole circuit breakers provide two independent 120 V circuits in a single mounting space, tandem 2-pole breakers support 240 V loads, and quad tandem circuit breakers combine four poles to serve mixed 120/240 V applications. Typical handle ratings range from 15–50 A, depending on configuration and application, and support general lighting, receptacle circuits, and select HVAC loads. These circuit breakers are UL Listed as HACR type for use with air‑conditioning, heating, and refrigeration equipment with motor group combinations. Tandem and quad tandem circuit breakers rated 15–20 A are suitable for use with 60°C or 75°C conductors, while 25–50 A versions require 75°C conductors.
