Demand
- Power demandPower demand is a measure of average power consumption over a fixed time interval.
- Current demandThe meter calculates current demand using the block interval, synchronized or thermal demand methods.
- Power demand calculation methodsPower demand is calculated by dividing the energy accumulated during a specified period by the length of that period.
- Peak demandThe meter records the peak (or maximum) values for kWD, kVARD, and kVAD power (or peak demand).
- Predicted demandThe meter calculates predicted demand for the end of the present interval for kW, kVAR, and kVA demand, taking into account the energy consumption so far within the present (partial) interval and the present rate of consumption.
- Setting up demand calculationsUse the Demand setup screens to define power or current demand.
