Syslog Service
Description
The SYSLOG SERVICE page allows you to configure the Syslog server settings for the security logs generated by the EIFE interface.
The EIFE interface logs 2048 security events before the oldest events are over written by newer events.
Ensure the security logs are exported on a regular basis from the EIFE interface by:
-
Manual log export in CSV format.
-
Automatic export of the security logs using the Export Interval parameter.
Ensure that the Syslog server is installed in your monitoring PC.
