Add a New Markup Type

The following steps show you how to add a new markup type:

1. Click the Add New button. Type a descriptive Display Name (required).

   

2. If you want this markup type to include a default palette, toggle it on and provide a URL to a valid feature service.

   

When you define a new markup type, it is then added to all operational maps and configured to use the default palette.

You can edit a markup type by selecting it on the left, changing the values in the right pane, and clicking Save.

To illustrate how adding new markup types affects theArcFM Mobile app, within the app users see a Markups button available in the upper right.

Service Specific Settings

In the event that a Markup Type has one or more items listed in this section, the Markup Type likely contains stale data and/or one or more maps that no longer exist. Nothing is harmed in leaving these items in the list, but you may want to remove them to avoid any problems.

To edit these settings, click the Edit Service Selections button and uncheck the items that you want to remove. Then click Apply.
