Warn Before Off

Warn Before Off is an optional courtesy feature of the Dimmer. It can be enabled by an Enabled Control Group and the duration can be set up to 15 min.

When Warn Before Off is enabled for a channel, and a command is received from C-Bus to turn the channel OFF, the channel does not immediately turn off. Instead it:

• sets the channel level to the configured Warn Before Off level, to warn any occupants that the light will turn off shortly.

• starts a countdown timer set for the Warn Before Off time:

  • When the timer expires, the channel turns OFF.

  • If another OFF command is received for the channel before the timer expires, the channel cancels the timer and turns off immediately.
