Add ConduitJunction
The ConduitJunction feature class provides a way to split a conduit feature into two segments also creating two different conduit or duct bank features. It allows the ability to associate a conductor to different ducts between two underground structures.
This functionality is optional and requires a new feature class to be created. See ConduitJunction Feature Class for additional details.
Use the Features Tab to add a ConduitJunction along a conduit at the desired location. The conduit is split into two features and the original conduit configuration is retained on both conduit features. If associations with conductors exist on the original conduit feature, this association is also retained on the two new features. Whether or not there were previous associated conductors, you can also change the associations if desired.
The Create Opposite tool does not work when a ConduitJunction is connected to three or more conduit. If you try to run the tool when this scenario exists, the error message below displays. However, the Create Opposite tool still works when there is just two conduit between a ConduitJunction.
