Flip Duct Bank View within Conduit Configuration
When you edit the duct configuration within the ArcFM Conduit Configuration dialog, you need to take into account which of the related duct bank diagrams should accept the changes as seen in the dialog, and which should flip in order to be the opposite numbering. In other words, how do your duct edits change the related diagrams on both sides of the conduit?
For example, in the following image there is a conduit with 9 ducts in a 3 x 3 arrangement plus one extra duct. This conduit connects vault V776W and V776E. Currently, the ducts are numbered incorrectly. If you visited V776W and looked at the wall, duct #1 would appear in the upper, left-hand corner. If you visited V776E, duct #1 should appears in the upper, right-hand corner of the wall, but it is currently in the upper, left-hand corner.
To fix this, follow these steps:
-
Select the conduit.
-
In the Attribute Editor > Selection tab, click the conduit once to highlight it.
-
Hover over the CONFIGURATION field, then click the pencil.
-
In the ArcFM Conduit Configuration dialog, ensure “Arrange each duct bank view separately,” is checked.
-
Further, click the Zoom
button and the Highlight
button to confirm you are viewing the desired duct arrangement (in this case, the duct arrangement you want to flip).
-
Click Flip.
-
Click OK.
-
Confirm the flipped ducts on the diagrams.
