Automatic Configuration

The automatic configuration feature (also known as “drag and drop”) simplifies your setup process by automatically assigning the correct group objects to your devices and creating widgets in the Touch visualization.

What it does:

• Automatically assigns the correct group objects to your devices.

• Automatically creates widgets in the Touch visualization.

• Saves time and reduces manual configuration effort.

How to use automatic configuration:

1. Open the Hybrid plugin.

2. In the device list, locate the device you want to configure.

3. Drag the device and drop it into the desired location.

   NOTE: Make sure the room is already set in the Touch application.

4. After dropping the device, a dialog will appear: New location Touch: Name of the location

5. In the dialog:

   • Choose Automatic configuration.

   • Optionally rename your device.

   • Enable automatic firmware updates (recommended).

6. The system will:

   • Automatically assign the correct group objects (you can verify this by clicking the configuration icon of the device).

   • Automatically create a widget in the Touch visualization.
