Device Control and Status

Clicking on the Control and status icon allows you to control your device and check its status. Click and choose the action you want to perform. The control and status dialog box contains the following buttons (the number of buttons varies depending on the type of device):

Read: Display the current status/consumption of the device.
Send: Enter the value you want to send to the device in the input field and click Send.
On: Turn on the device.
Off: Turn off the device.
Toggle: Switch the device between on and off.
Up/Open: Raise/open the blinds/shutters.
Down/Close: Lower/close the blinds/shutters.
Stop: Stop the movement of the blinds/shutters.

For example, if you have commissioned several devices of the same model, and you need to distinguish which one is which, you can turn them on/off with the Control and status setting.

You can use Control and status for troubleshooting if you have a problem to control your device from Touch visualization. Turn your device on/off and check if it works.

NOTE: This feature is not available for battery-powered devices. Battery-powered devices are usually idle.
