Long Term GIS Updater

Miner.Responder.LongTermGISUpdater.exe is a standalone Server tool which can be used in place of the Long Term Refresh. This should be scheduled after any replication, as replication from another GIS instance or version can overwrite the GIS changes made by Long Term Refresh. Follow the instructions below to update the Long Term GIS Updater config file.
  1. Look for Miner.Responder.LongTermGISUpdater.exe in C:\Program Files (x86)\Miner and Miner\Responder\Server.

  2. Open the file with Notepad++ or another app that will allow you to edit the code.

  3. Look for the following code:

     <channels>
        <channel ref="tcp" port="0"/>
        <channel ref="msmq" ComputerName="ServerName"/>
      </channels>
    </application>

    </system.runtime.remoting>

    Update the ServerName in the third line of code shown above to the location of your server.

  4. Save the file and close Notepad++.

  5. Double click the file to run the exe to set up Long Term GIS Updater.
