  • Topics are organized thematically in the Table of Contents along the left-hand side. Expand topics to reveal subtopics.

  • Use the Search field to type keywords you’re looking for. The Search defaults to querying within the current guide, but it also gives you the chance to query the entire catalog of guides. Further, it allows you to filter by product, guide type, and version. Enter your search terms to get started.

Rx Config
  1. Do I need to have the same version of Responder installed as I have for ArcFM Desktop?

    1. Yes, you must be running the same version of Responder as you are ArcFM Desktop. Mixed versions are not supported.

  2. I'm using Oracle 18 or later, Responder doesn't start for me and displays "TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified." What do I need to do to fix this?

    1. Responder was updated in 10.6.1a to use Oracle Managed Driver to connect to Oracle databases. After creating the tnsnames.ora file, the Managed driver needs to know where the file is located. Access System Properties, then add the Variable Name TNS_ADMIN as an environment variable.

Set the Variable value to the path where the tnsnames.ora file resides. For example: C:\app\client\username\product\18.0.0\client_1\network\admin

You must also install ArcGIS (Desktop, Engine, Server) 10.6.1 Support for Oracle 18c Patch.
