Responder Weather Integration

Beginning with version 10.2.1b, Responder offers Schneider Electric weather services integration. The following Windows Registry keys (located in: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Miner and Miner\Responder8\Weather\) provide configuration options:

  • LayerName: Sets the name of the group layer containing the individual weather layers.

RefreshRateLightning: Sets the refresh rate for the lightning strike layers in milliseconds. Default is 30 seconds.

  • RefreshRate: Sets the refresh rate of all weather layers except lightning strikes in milliseconds. Default is 5 minutes.

To edit these Windows Registry keys:

  1. Open Windows Registry Editor.
  2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Miner and Miner > Responder8 > Weather.
  3. Double-click the value you want to edit.
  4. Type the desired value and click OK. Responder will use these values the next time you open ArcMap.

Use standard ArcMap tools to configure other layer options (e.g., visible extents and symbology).
