Fiber Cables - Component View

The Component Info tool gives you visual information about network features.

There are areas of information on the pane. From top to bottom, these are:

• The facility ID is provided directly under the Load Selected button (and in the Facility ID field). You can double-click the pencil icon to edit the facility ID if the value is mapped to an configurable attribute.

  NOTE: If the Facility ID is null, the Object ID is listed at the top of the window.

• There are several component tools displayed to the right of the facility ID. A few of these tools have functionality specific to Component Information

  • The Select button selects all the other features or objects associated to your originally selected feature. In other words, this selects the items currently listed in the Component Information pane.

  • The Zoom To  tool zooms to the selected features in the map.

  • The Flash button flashes the selected features in the map.

Access the Component Information from these different places:

• Select Component Info by a right click on the cable directly from the map.

  

• Right click the feature in the Attribute Viewer.

  

• Click the Component Info icon next to an ArcFM search result.
