Fiber Splices - Additional Tools
The Fiber Splices pane offers additional tools to leverage the schematic. The fields displayed in the schematic are configurable by an administrator. For more information, see the Schematics topic.
The tools for Fiber Splices let you:

-
Select a color for connected group lines. The Color Selector tool allows you to add different colors to different connected group lines.
-
Print the schematic to a local printer or PDF.
TIP: If you use the Print tool, the colors do persist and are included in your printout. -
Reload the Schematic to regenerate the current Fiber Splices schematic.
If you have changed the colors of the group lines and you want to return to all black, this is a quick way to refresh the schematic back to the default look.
-
Open Fiber Connections at this location. This tool is a great time saver as it automatically brings you to the Fiber Connections pane already populated with the same splice.
TIP: The colors you might have added to the group lines have no effect on Fiber Connections. Fiber Connections opens at its default state, not pre-filtered to the colored group lines. -
Create a Splice Report. See Generating Fiber Manager Reports for more information.
