Fiber Splices - Component View

The Component Info tool gives you visual information about network features.

These network features are seen in different areas on the Component Info pane. From top to bottom, these are:

• The facility ID is provided directly under the Load Selected button (and in the Facility ID field). You can double-click the pencil icon to edit the facility ID if the value is mapped to an configurable attribute.

  NOTE: If the Facility ID is null, the Object ID is listed at the top of the window.

• There are several component tools displayed to the right of the facility ID. A few of these tools have functionality specific to Component Information

  • The Select button selects all the other features or objects associated to your originally selected feature. In other words, this selects the items currently listed in the Component Information pane.

  • The Zoom To Extent tool zooms to the selected features in the map.

  • The Flash button flashes the selected features in the map.

Whether you access the Component Information pane from a map object, the attribute viewer, or an ArcFM search, the results show a pane with more detailed information about the splice point.
