Repair Circuit with Incorrect Path

Circuits in your map can change when a field team has to physically move cables or disconnect ports. Other users in the map can also make cable length changes or updates and those session changes can create a stale view of the current network.

When you retrace a circuit, the map is refreshed on data that was previously traced. When you recalculate the circuit, Fiber Manager XI retraces the circuit and saves any route changes of the data path in the network to display the most current information.

From the Fiber Circuit Details window, click Recalculate .

The map then shows the updated information.
