Generating Fiber Manager XI Reports
Fiber Manager XI lets you create trace, cable, splice, and circuit reports so you can share network connection details with a field crew or other users without a login. Each report can generate a tabular layout that contains a customizable configuration in either HTML, CSV, or XML. The report format is based on stylesheet parameters set in Solution Center. See the Reports topic for more information.
Customizing the Report
The text in the output field can be changed to suit business needs. This lets you customize each report type. We recommend you copy and paste the output to a text editor, make changes such as include or exclude a column, then copy the text back.
You can also add fields to the report from the Fiber Objects tab Solution Center. One example is to add the Available, Status, and Name fields to the Strand object for the Splice, Trace, and Circuit reports.

If you need the default stylesheet back, delete the text and refresh the map in Solution Center.
Trace Report
The Trace Report shows the results of a Fiber Trace. The trace report shows the path, or paths, from the selected fiber object through all connected fiber facilities from start to end, such as from a router to a switch in a rack at another location. The report also lists the elements of the path in the order encountered, along the route in both directions for objects between endpoints.
In the case of a distance trace, the path runs from the starting element of the trace and stops at the final asset of the specified distance.
To generate the trace report, run an active trace and click the report icon.
Cable Report
The Cable Report shows high-level information about a selected cable, including the name, number of lit circuits, number of reserved circuits, number of available fibers, and number of defective fibers. Further, it displays detailed information about all circuits that pass through the selected cable, including any wavelength data and status.
To run a cable report, open the component view for the cable and click the report icon.
Splice Report
The splice report displays the connections on either side of a splice point. Buffer color, fiber color, and fiber number information is displayed for the fiber optic cables located in the splice point. Information regarding the splice tray, circuits, splice type, and attenuation loss for the splice point is located in the middle columns of the report.
To generate the report, open Splice Details and click the report icon.
In the example report image, you can see the 12 strands that belong to the blue buffer tube. Each strand has information from the connections section of the map in ArcGIS Pro.
