Welcome to Fiber Manager XI. Here are helpful links and other notes to get you started.

• Fiber Manager XI Implementation Guide — Make sure you fully configure the application prior to use.

• Editor XI Using Guide — Fiber Manager XI is an extension of Editor XI. Thus, the tools provided in ArcFM Editor XI are also available to you in Fiber Manager XI. Read through the ArcFM Editor XI Using Guide to learn more about these tools.

• ArcGIS Pro Help — Fiber Manager XI is installed on top of ArcGIS Pro so the standard toolset is available to you. If you have not worked in ArcGIS Pro before, these topics are particularly useful:

• ArcFM Solution XI Series Named User Functionality Matrix. Different users have different permissions in the application. Check your SE Role to make sure you are able to perform the proper tasks in the application.

Important Notes Before you Start Working in the Map

• In ArcGIS Pro, do not change the names of the layers in the Contents pane, as the toolset is using those names to provide relevant functionality. If you need to change the names, work with your administrator to ensure the names are the same across the map, Solution Center, and the ArcGIS Portal.

• Your Fiber Manager XI login must be the same as the login you use for Session Manager. Mixing logins produces errors when you attempt to save your work. For more information about Sessions, see the Session Manager help topic.
