Direct Online
Description
The Direct Online starter requires the following digital inputs and outputs:

Two digital inputs for motor local start and local stop.

One digital output for motor RUN command CONTACTOR OUTPUT 1.

Logical Diagram
The following diagram shows the logical diagram of Direct Online starter.
Operating Principle
When Direct Online mode is selected, motor start is possible from one of the following sources:

Start command from valid source as per the selected operating mode.

Start command from Forced start function.

Start command from automatic restart function.
If a start command is received from either of the above source and if the motor is Ready to Start (that is no inhibit cause detected), then TeSys Tera system activates the CONTACTOR OUTPUT 1.
TeSys Tera system deactivates CONTACTOR OUTPUT 1, if any of the following motor stop cause is detected:

Stop command from valid source as per the selected operating mode.

Stop command from a digital input assigned to Forced stop (optional), refer to Input Assignment .

Stop command from automatic restart function.
