Diameter (required)

Diameter of the cable. Block and PBA splices do not have diameter, so this field displays only for straight splices.

Loss Unit Multiplier (required)

Multiplier for signal loss.

Resistance (required)

Resistance of the cable in ohms.

Resistance Unit Multiplier (required)

Multiplier for signal resistance.

In Building

Select this checkbox to denote that the cable is located in a building rather than external.

Cable Loss

• Remove: Click the Remove button to the right of the value that you want to delete.

• Add: Type the appropriate value(s) and click the Add button to the right of the value(s) you are adding.

• Edit an existing value: Double-click the existing value and type a new value, then click Update to save all changes.

  • Cable Loss per 100 Feet (required)

    : The amount of forward signal loss at particular frequencies.

  • Return Loss per 100 Feet (required)

    : The amount of return signal loss at particular frequencies.
