Splitters Insertion Loss

Add Profile: The Forward Loss and Return Loss fields can have multiple profiles. To add a new profile, click the Add Profile button. To add multiple profiles at once, change the Add Profile field value to the number of profiles you want to add and click Add Profile. You can remove a profile by selecting the Remove Profile button that appears when multiple profiles are present.

Copy Profile: When multiple forward or return loss profiles exist, you can click the Copy button at the bottom of the first profile to duplicate its loss details in subsequent loss profiles. When copying, the values in the first profile are appended to any values that already exist in other profiles.

Remove Profile: When multiple forward or return loss profiles exist, you can remove a profile by selecting the Remove Profile button that appears below the profile.

Add Loss: Type appropriate values in the fields in the bottom row and click the Add button.

Edit Loss: Type a new value in the appropriate field. Designer HFC Catalog will save all changes once you click Update in the Asset Details Menu.

Remove Loss: Click the Remove button to the right of the row you want to delete.

• Forward Loss (required): The amount of forward signal loss at particular frequencies.

• Return Loss (required): The amount of return signal loss at particular frequencies.
