Add Attribute Fields to Relationship Tables

After you create a new relationship, the “Relationship class is attributed” option lets you add the three required table fields.

To add an attribute field:

1. In the Catalog pane, expand your database until you find your newly created relationships.

2. Right-click the relationship and choose Add to Current Map (or Add to New Map if you do not have a map open yet). This step moves the relationship into the Contents pane, where you can open it.

3. In the Contents pane, right-click the relationship and choose Open.

4. In the table view, next to Field, click the Add button.

   

5. Add the following attribute fields:

   • Branch (long integer)

   • BranchOrder (long integer)

   • BranchStarts (text with 128 characters)

6. At the top of the application, in the Fields menu > Changes tool group, click Save.

7. Repeat with all newly added circuit relationships.
