Configure the Structure Domain Network

A structure network is the hardware, such as ducts, conduits, and structure facilities, that supports all the communication lines. When you create a Utility Network (UN), a structure network is automatically created with predefined feature classes and tables.

IMPORTANT: The configuration settings on this page match the Fiber Manager XI data model.

To configure the Structure Domain:

  1. From the home screen in Solution Center, click Editor > Editor Maps.

  2. Select your operational map from the list.

  3. Under Select a Domain Network to configure, select Structure.

  4. On the Structure Setting tab, use these settings for the Fields:

    Structure Setting

    Field Name

    Duct Diameter Units

    Inches

    Duct End Flag Annotation

    DuctFlagEndAnno

    Duct Flag Outline Annotations

    DuctFlagOutlineAnno

    MapUnits

    Feet

    MaxDucts

  5. On the Structure Field Names tab, use these settings for the Fields:

    Structure Field Name

    Field Name

    Description

    Available

    isavailable

Applies to DuctEnd features in the StructureJunction class, as well as to Duct objects in the StructureEdgeObject table, to indicate that the corresponding duct is eligible to receive a new occupant.

    ConduitFacilityID

    assetid

Identifier preferred by the customer implementing ArcFM, for conduit facilities.

    DuctBankGuid

    ductbankguid

    Maintained by ArcFM Conduit Manager.

    DuctDiameter

    diameter

Floating point number that applies to Duct objects (StructureEdgeObject) and their corresponding DuctEnd features (StructureJunction). The length units associated with these values are specified by the DuctDiameterUnits configuration setting.

    DuctEndGuid

    ductendguid

    Maintained by ArcFM Conduit Manager.

    DuctEndShape

    ductcrosssectionshape

Indicates the cross-sectional shape of the duct corresponding to a DuctEnd feature (StructureJunction).

    DuctFlagLabelText

    notes

    Maintained by ArcFM Conduit Manager.

    DuctFlagOutlineId

    ductflagoutlineid

    Maintained by ArcFM Conduit Manager.

    DuctFlagRotation

    ductflagrotation

    Maintained by ArcFM Conduit Manager.

    DuctFlagScale

    ductflagscale

    Maintained by ArcFM Conduit Manager.

    DuctID

    ductid

User-assignable identifier for a duct with a bank. Found on both the Duct (StructureEdgeObject) and its associated DuctEnd features (StructureJunction)

    DuctOccupantDescription

    occupantdescription

    Maintained by ArcFM Conduit Manager.

    LeaderLineAttachPoint

    leaderlineattachmentpoint

    Maintained by ArcFM Conduit Manager.

    Material

    NumberOfAvailableDucts

    numavailableducts

    Maintained by ArcFM Conduit Manager.

    Occupied

    isoccupied

(True/False) Indicates whether a duct is occupied. Automatically initialized by ArcFMConduit Manager while ducts are being edited, but user can assign an overriding value. Found on both the Duct (StructureEdgeObject) and its associated DuctEnd features (StructureJunction).

    StructureAddress

    name

    Address of the structure.

    StructureFacilityID

    assetid

Structure identifier preferred by the customer implementing ArcFM.

    WallHeight

    wallheight

The height of the structure wall.
