Install the ArcGIS Server Extensions

ArcGIS Server supports extensions, which allow you to extend the base functionality of map and image services with custom logic that can be executed in ArcGIS clients. The ArcFM Editor XI SOI and the Fiber Manager XI SOE are required for Fiber Manager XI functionality.

To add the extensions:

1. Go to the myArcFM Editor XI page, and download the ArcFM_Autoupdater_XI file to the same server where ArcGIS Server Manager is installed.

2. Go to the myArcFM Fiber Manager XI installers page and download the FiberXIRestSOE_ent.soe file to the same server where ArcGIS Server Manager is installed.

3. Log in to ArcGIS Server Manager.

4. At the top of the window, click Site.

5. From the left side menu, click Extensions.

6. Click Add Extension.

7. Click Browse and navigate to the where the FiberXIRestSOE_ent.soe file is saved.

8. Click FiberXIRestSOE_ent.soe, then click Add.

9. Click Add Extension again.

10. Click Browse and navigate to where the ArcFM_Autoupdater_XI.soe file is saved.

11. Click ArcFM_Autoupdater_XI.soe, then click Add.

    Both objects are now installed and available. Verify you see them listed before continuing.
