Edit Electric Device

Available in Responder Explorer.

Use the Edit Electric Device tool to edit fault devices or switching order devices. You can edit the electric devices associated with an incident on the Incidents tab. Access the Edit form by right-clicking a confirmed electric device.

If the fault has a status of Unconfirmed or Probable, you can also select Correct Phase/Time. The Edit tool is not available on unconfirmed and probable devices.

Multi-Customer Loadpoints: If you choose to re-open a fault on a restored incident that has a multi-customer loadpoint (e.g., an apartment building), any changes made to the loadpoint using the Select Affected Customers tool are lost. Only customers who called are marked as out.

  1. Right-click a confirmed electric device and select Edit.
The Edit dialog displays information about the selected fault device.
  2. In the Status section of the dialog, edit the Actual and Time of Operation fields as needed.

To set the Time of Operation field value to the current time, click the clock button.

You cannot close phases on a device. For example, if AB is closed on an ABC device, you cannot close C and restore the device. Phases can only be opened.

  3. Click OK to save your changes and close the dialog.
