View

The View drop-down menu contains the following tools:

• Show Execution Information: Select this option (check) to display the Execution Information for individual operations. Turn it off (uncheck) to hide this information.

  

• Show Context Information: Select this option (check) to display the Context information for individual operations. Any information in the Context field prepends the title of the operation. Turning it off (unchecking) hides this information within the operation, but does not remove it from the operation title.

  NOTE: The location of the context within the title of the operation can be configured by following directions in the Configuration Guide.

  

• Show Summary/Comments in Callouts: Select this option (check) to display both the Summary and Comments for individual operations when selecting either View on Map or View Selected Steps on Map. Turn it off (uncheck) to hide this information.

  

• View on Map: This tool is enabled only if you have ArcMap open. Select View on Map to view the switch order devices and outage area in ArcMap. The device(s) are highlighted on the map with a callout. This tool is also available in Responder Explorer when you right-click a switching order. The callouts are removed when the user closes the switching order or the Switch Order Editor.

  

• View Selected Steps on Map: This tool is enabled only if you have ArcMap open AND have selected/highlighted at least one step on the active Switch Order. Only the selected steps in the Switch Order Editor (chosen by Ctrl+click or Shift+click) are highlighted on the map with a callout. The callouts are removed when the user closes the switching order or the Switch Order Editor.

  

• Clear Map: This tool is enabled only if you have ArcMap open and have executed the View on Map tool first. It clears the callout(s) placed on the map by the View on Map tool.
