CPRectifier

A rectifier is the source of direct current in the cathodic protection system. Wire connects the pipe to the negative pole of the rectifier. The positive pole is connected to the ground bed that contains anodes. Current flows from the rectifier through the ground bed, through the soil to the pipe, and back to the rectifier. The ground bed deteriorates over time, but the pipe is protected.

You may omit specific feature classes from gas traces. To do this, assign the GASNONTRACABLE model name to the CPRectifier feature class. A rectifier bit depends on the existence of the class model name RECTIFIER. LOCATABLEOBJECT is used to enable the Object Query Locator tool.

CPRectifier acquires properties from the CathodicProtectionDevice abstract class.

Attributes:

Field Name	Field Type	Description
Amperage	text	System rated capacity of rectifier in amps.
CoolingMethod	text	Code indicating cooling method of rectifier; domain values include air or oil.
CPSystemObjectID	long integer	ObjectID of associated CPSystem.
FacilityID	text	Utility identifier representing a feature’s location in the facility; if the feature is replaced, the new feature has the same identifier. Assign the LOCATABLEFIELD model name to enable this field for the Object Query Locator tool. The feature or object class must have the model name LOCATABLEOBJECT assigned.
InternalMeter	text	Code indicating presence of InternalMeter; domain values are Yes or No.
Manufacturer	text	Code indicating manufacturer; domain values include Goodall, Kerotest, Rockwell, etc. The AT_MANUFACATURER model name is used on this field to configure abandon for gas.
Model	text	Rectifier model number specified by manufacturer.
RectifierType	text	Code indicating type of rectifier; domain values include CPRectifier - General, RectifierBond, Rectifier.
SerialNumber	text	Rectifier serial number specified by manufacturer. Assign the LOCATABLEFIELD model name to enable this field for the Object Query Locator tool. The feature or object class must have the model name LOCATABLEOBJECT assigned.
Voltage	long integer	Amount of voltage output by rectifier in amps.
