The Fault calculation determines the amount of current that flows through a short circuit. It is displayed in the Transformer & Service Summary.
The fault current magnitude |IFAULTi | at each bus i is computed as
where Vo is the voltage at the transformer primary bus, ZXFR is the transformer impedance, and ZPATH is the total impedance of the conductor path joining bus i to the transformer secondary bus (all values in per unit).
