GIS Domain to Support Segmentable Nodes

Segmentable nodes come in a handful of configurations, from non-segmented up to four-way. If your company wants to use segmentable nodes, you need to add a domain to your GIS as described below. You do not have to add this domain if you do not intend on using segmentable nodes.

Create the domain while signed in as the ARCFM user.

• Domain Name: RF Node Segmentation Mode

• Field Type: Short Integer

• Domain Type: Coded Value

• Split Policy: Default Value

• Merge Policy: Default Value

• Coded Values:

  1. 0: Non Segmented

  2. 2: Two Way

  3. 3: Three Way

  4. 4: Four Way

     

The codes 0, 2, 3, and 4 correspond with the matching entry from the ComponentModelEnum in the Enumerated Data Types. The purpose of this domain is to identify the segmentation configuration.
