Booster amplifiers increase the signal between long amplifier spacing and near the end-of-lines where more signal is needed. A booster amp lets you keep the current amplifier spacing whereas adjusting the spacing can lead to unplanned changes in the network.
When you configure booster amps in Solution Center, the fields seen are similar to ones used in Amplifiers, but have some fields that are different.
