Purge Lock

If a version is locked by a user, Session Manager in Solution Center indicates the lock with large red text under the session details.

It also provides a way for admin level users to purge the lock directly from Session Manager within Solution Center.

Before manually purging any locks, it’s always wise to check with the user who has the lock to make sure they aren’t actively working in the session. If it is determined that it is in fact a leaked lock, an admin can click the Purge Lock button to remove the lock.

After clicking Purge Lock, a warning displays indicating purging the lock could create issues for the user. Click Yes to continue. If you aren’t sure if the lock is a leaked lock, click No and check with the user.

After clicking Yes, the version is no longer locked.
