DeviceStatus Configuration for Switchable Devices
The interpretation of DeviceStatus field can be customized
according to the specific coded values used by your organization.
This configuration is completed in Solution Center under Editor Maps.
- Select your Operational Map from the drop-down on the Editor Maps tab.
- Click the Field Names tab. The full name of the tab is appended with the network domain you are accessing. For example, if you are accessing an electric network, the table is called Electric Field Names. Gas and water datasets have their utility type listed instead of Electric.
- Click the Interpretation tab.
- Select the appropriate domain value in the following drop-down
lists:

For the Value meaning Closed drop-down, select the domain value that sets a device to Closed.

In the Value meaning Open drop-down, select the domain value that sets a device to Open.

Select which domain value you want other values to be assumed as in the All other values to be interpreted as drop-down.
IMPORTANT: If the coded values in the drop-downs aren’t what you expected to see, check the DeviceStatus field mapping on the Fields tab in Step 2.
