Import, Export, Troubleshooting
The ArcFM Engine Administrator reads an embedded layout in the ArcFM Viewer for ArcGIS Engine executable. It also reads custom.layout files stored in the following directory: Program Files (x86)\Miner and Miner\ArcFM Solution\Bin\Addons\ArcFMViewer. When the user clicks Apply to save changes, these modifications are saved to a file called Master.custom.layout. This Master.custom.layout file may be exported and distributed to other machines.

ArcFM Solution\Bin
-
ArcFM Solution\Bin\Addons
-
ArcFM Solution\Bin\Addons\ArcFMViewer
Other applications that use custom.layout files (e.g., Responder) also have access to read from ArcFM Solution\Bin and ArcFM Solution\Bin\Addons.
Import
When importing, you can only import a file called Master.custom.layout. After clicking Import, you are prompted to confirm that you want to overwrite the existing Master.custom.layout file. Then browse to the file you want to import and click OK.
Export
To export the modifications made (i.e., Loaded Components) using the ArcFM Engine Administrator, click the Export button on any tab. All changes to all component types (e.g., Commands, Extensions, Licenses) are included in the exported file. After you click Export, you are prompted to save any changes made to the Engine Administrator first (if no changes have been made, you won't be prompted). Next, you are prompted to browse to a location. The file is automatically named Master.custom.layout.
