Delete Existing Geodatabase Regions

As stated in the Configuring the On-Prem Storage Service topic, never delete Geodatabase Regions (GRRs) from within the Storage Service location (i.e., the directory folder).

Instead, delete GRRs in Solution Center > Feeder Services > Mapping > Geodatabase Regions.

To delete existing GRRs, follow these steps:

  1. In Solution Center > Feeder Services > Mapping > Geodatabase Regions, locate the GRRs you want to delete.

NOTE: Use the Search field at the top of the interface to help pare down the list of GRRs.

  2. Using Shift and Ctrl, select the GRRs you want to delete.

  3. Click Delete Selected.

  4. Click Yes to confirm, or click No to cancel.

Special Treatment of GRR Groups

As mentioned in the topic Group Subnetworks, once an LV subnetwork belongs to a group, you cannot delete the LV subnetwork GRR individually. That is why the Delete button is disabled for LV subnetwork GRRs that belong to a group (look for the Group icon to see at a glance whether or not the LV subnetwork is in a group). You must delete the entire GRR Group, which removes not only the group but also all the individual members of the group from the Storage Service location.
