Delete Existing Geodatabase Regions
As stated in the Configuring the On-Prem Storage Service topic, never delete Geodatabase Regions (GRRs) from within the Storage Service location (i.e., the directory folder).
Instead, delete GRRs in Solution Center > Feeder Services > Mapping > Geodatabase Regions.
To delete existing GRRs, follow these steps:
-
In Solution Center > Feeder Services > Mapping > Geodatabase Regions, locate the GRRs you want to delete.
NOTE: Use the Search field at the top of the interface to help pare down the list of GRRs. -
Using Shift and Ctrl, select the GRRs you want to delete.
-
Click Delete Selected.
-
Click Yes to confirm, or click No to cancel.
Special Treatment of GRR Groups
As mentioned in the topic Group Subnetworks, once an LV
subnetwork belongs to a group, you cannot delete the LV subnetwork
GRR individually. That is why the Delete button is disabled for LV
subnetwork GRRs that belong to a group (look for the Group icon to see at a glance whether or not the LV subnetwork is in a
group). You must delete the entire GRR Group, which removes not only
the group but also all the individual members of the group from the
Storage Service location.
