Delete Existing Geodatabase Regions

As stated in the Configuring the On-Premises Storage Service topic, never delete Geodatabase Regions (GRRs) from within the Storage Service location (i.e., the directory folder).

Instead, delete GRRs in Solution Center > Feeder Services > Mapping > Geodatabase Regions.

To delete existing GRRs, follow these steps:

  1. In Solution Center > Feeder Services > Mapping > Geodatabase Regions, locate the GRRs you want to delete.

NOTE: Use the Search field at the top to help pare down the list of GRRs.

  2. Using Shift and Ctrl, select the GRRs you want to delete.

  3. Click Delete Selected.

  4. Click Yes to confirm or No to cancel.

Special Treatment of GRR Groups

Once an LV subnetwork belongs to a group, you cannot delete the LV subnetwork GRR individually (this is covered in the Group Subnetworks topic). That is why the Delete button is disabled for LV subnetwork GRRs that belong to a group (look for the Group button to see at a glance whether or not the LV subnetwork is in a group). You must delete the entire GRR Group, which removes not only the group but also all the individual members of the group from the Storage Service location.

Special Treatment of GRR Lists

If your organization is experiencing performance issues with loading large datasets, you can add the option for pagination. You can also choose page size.

This is configured in FeatureFlags/FeederServices/GrrListViewPagination.
