Special Treatment of Phases and Energized Phases

The application uses enumerated values to convert the coded integer value of the phase to a readable phase description. For example, if an electric feature has a phase integer value of 4, the application translates this into the label “Phase A.” This is automatic and does not require configuration.

Feeder Services expects all components that represent banks, such as FuseBankWithTerminals, TransformerBankWithTerminals, ConductorBank and more should have Phases mapped in the schema xml. The Bank components make special use of the Phases with respect to the unit components that are created or read from GIS as children of the bank.
