Update Data Model for 10.x Migrations

Review the model in the Fiber Manager XI asset package. Note variations from your Fiber Manager 10.x model in terms of tables, fields, domains, and relationship hierarchies. Apply those same variations to the Fiber Manager XI model.

• For each custom feature class in your 10.x database that will be migrated, add an asset group to the Communications Line or Communications Junction feature classes in the XI database.

• For each custom subtype in your 10.x database that will be migrated, add an asset type for the appropriate asset group in the Communications Line or Communications Junction feature classes in the XI database.

• For each custom related table in your 10.x database that will be migrated, add a matching table to the XI database. 

• For each custom field in the feature classes or related tables of your 10.x database that will be migrated, add a matching field to the appropriate feature class or related table in the XI database.
